Funded by Tamara Magwashu. Tamara is a multidimensional woman, an entrepreneur, a philanthropist, an enthusiast, and an alpha female crowning her pact. Growing from the dusty streets of the Eastern Cape her resilience defeated the systematic poverty of her hometown. Her realization of the period of poverty, as well as a scarcity of financial opportunity for women, empowered her to start her own sanitary towels, created by women for women. The founder refuses to accept women’s circumstances led by period poverty to define women’s circumstances. She redefined them with her femaleness. Today, Tamara is a multifaceted businesswoman driven by a passion to end period poverty for all women in Africa. Her perseverance led to the establishment of Azosule Feminine Hygiene Products which is not only a brand but also a movement intended to break barriers and defeat all odds against young, black women like her. Azosule Feminine Hygiene Products advocates for women who depend solely on the force within them. Women like you, women like me, women like us.
